
As part of activities marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghana National Gas Limited Company (Ghana Gas), Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, led a team of female employees to donate an amount of twenty thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC20,000) to support two healthcare workers of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital who are currently battling breast cancer and undergoing treatment.

Speaking during the presentation, Ms. Blay commended the courage and dedication of the affected employees.
“We are here to celebrate the uniqueness of your two healthcare workers who continue to serve patients selflessly, even as they battle breast cancer. We want to assure them that they are not alone, Ghana Gas stands with them in this fight,” Ms. Blay stated.
She further emphasized that the gesture aligns with the Mahama Cares Initiative, which prioritizes healthcare support for the needy and vulnerable in society.
“Ghana Gas is fully aligned with the President’s vision. Our support today is not a one-time act of charity; it marks the beginning of a lasting partnership between Ghana Gas and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital,” she added.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the affected employees the Medical Director of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Dr. Leslie Issa Adam-Zakariah,
expressed gratitude to Ghana Gas for their thoughtfulness and compassion.
He commend the company for recognizing and uplifting their healthcare professionals who continue to serve despite their personal health battles.
Also present were the Head of Nursing and Midwifery, DDNS Gifty Aryee, and the Hospital Administrator, Mr. Adam Mohammed Hardi.
