The newly-ordained Chief Priest at Miegyena, a farming community near Nzulezo and Beyin in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region, Nana Blay Miezah, has mystically planted an immovable cutlass into the ground at the center of his spiritual and ancestral home at Miegyena in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region.

The spiritual sword, which is believed to embody the strength, soul and unity of people in the community and by extension Jomoro, ,was planted last week Sunday, October 12, following an inspiration from his ancestors and communion with the supernatural.

At a ceremony to pitch the sword at Miegyena,Nana Blay Miezah, twho was the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the Convention People's Party ( CPP) in the Jomoro Constituency, was categorical that " if after seven good days, nobody was able to remove the sword, then it would remain immovable on the ground like the spiritual and mystical sword planted by the fetish Priest, Komfo Anokye in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region".

Addressing the gathering at the spiritual grounds at Miegyena,Nana Blay Miezah challenged anybody who was skeptical about the sword to make a bold attempt to remove it from the ground but upon several attempts by the gathering including media personnel covering the event, nobody could remove or pull out the sacred sword from the ground.

He told the community that his ordination as a traditional and spiritual priest did not allow him to exercise any customary powers or right as the Chief or Odikro of the town.

Nana Blay Miezah said he had no vested interest in selling their land or any property of the town but had come to as the spiritual father of the town to continue the traditional and spiritual healing exercise of his forebears to bring relief to people in Jomoro.

The spiritual seer said "anybody who comes here with his or her problem will find a solution to it with the help of the spirit powers who are creatures of the supreme God who performed miracles through my ancestors ".

Nana Blay Miezah said his next steps will be to inform the Paramount Chief of the Western Nzema Traditional Area at Beyin as well as all chiefs and queen mothers in the Jomoro Municipality to converge at Miegyena to add their blessings to the mystical sword and fashion out modalities to make the town the Mecca and Israel of Jomoro in a bid to boost tourist attraction.

The Chief Priest said his intentions were very clean and by saving lives of sick and people afflicted with many ailments, it will open up the place to the rest of the Municipality and the Western Region.

The Seer seized the opportunity to invite tourists and people from far and near to visit Miegyena which is some few kilometers away from the Tenack Beach Hotel at Beyin to experience the wondrous sword planted there.
