Ellembelle DCE honored as Best Performing DCE in Western region

Ellembelle District Chief Executive, Joseph Agyekum, has been adjudged the Best Performing DCE in the Western Region and awarded *GHS 11 million* as seed money.

MP Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah made the announcement on Thursday at Aiyinasi during the sod-cutting ceremony for the 24-hour economy market.

He said the funds will be used to construct a district hospital at Nkroful.

Nkroful Chief, Nana Kwasi Kutuah, confirmed land has been secured for the project.

The Chief had been appealing for a district hospital since the Akufo-Addo administration, but the request was not acted on.

Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah commended DCE Joseph Agyekum for working harder to project the district and called on the people of Ellembelle to rally behind him for more development.
