The Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo says the contractor on the Fodome-Hohoe road is at 95% completion, with the main Eastern Corridor set to be completed with quality.

In a Facebook post today, the MP told constituents to “be a little patient” as government finishes the road. “We will not rush and do what they did when they had power. They had eight solid years but couldn’t do it, not even simple grading,” he wrote.

He compared the NDC government’s record to the previous administration: “In less than one and a half years, the NDC government has done roads that they couldn’t use eight years to do.”

The MP listed other key projects in the pipeline:

1. Wli Todzi road – next after Eastern Corridor

2. Alavanyo-Nkonya road – currently under construction

3. Hohoe Jasikan road – also under construction

4. Alavanyo-Wegbe road and bridge – to start soon

5. Hohoe Segbedenu bridge – to start soon

“All cannot be done at the same time. We want the best for the good people of Hohoe, and we will continue to push to move Hohoe roads to the next level,” he said.

He ended by thanking Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza and President John Dramani Mahama: “Thank You Hon. Agbodza, Thank You Presidooo".
