The Western Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Richard Kirk Mensah has taken his market and community engagement to Axim Ehweebale market and some selected communities within the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira constituency to canvass votes for Mr. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC's parliamentary candidate for the area, Kofi Arko Nokoe.
At Ehweebale market in Axim, Dr. Richard Kirk Mensah took the opportunity to elaborate on policies of the NDC 2024 manifesto and how it would benefit the market women when voted for NDC and John Mahama come December 7, 2024.
He also seized the opportunity to explain the 24-hour economy policy and the establishment of Women's Development Bank and how it would benefit them.
The NDC Western Regional Communications Officer urged the voters in the area to vote massively for John Mahama and the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira NDC parliamentary candidate, Kofi Arko Nokoe to form the next government to develop the constituency.
He stated that the NPP government has failed to develop the Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira constituency.
He added that, the NPP only came to power to loot the state to enrich themselves.
He reminded them that John Mahama is placed on the number position on the ballot paper. He educated them on how they would cast the votes for John Mahama and Kofi Arko Nokoe come December 7th.
Some market women who got the opportunity to speak at the event, assured the NDC Western Regional Communications Officer that they would vote massively for Joh Dramani Mahama because under John Mahama's era things were far better when it come to their business because under Akufo Addo/Bawumia led government has collapsed all their businesses because of mismanagement of the economy.
Dr. Richard Kirk Mensah took the engagement to Amafukumenu and Brawire Akyinim where he engaged the fisherfolks and assured them that the next NDC government would address the challenges facing them under this NPP clueless government.
On their part, lack of premix fuel and it's abnormal price, cost of outboard motors and fishing gears were the major challenges facing their fishing work.
On her side, Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie, NDC 2023 parliamentary aspirant urged the women to vote massively for NDC come December 7, 2024 because it was only NDC government that have solution to their challenges.
The Western Regional Communications Officer was accompanied by the NDC Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira Constituency Chairman Emmanuel Ennor Kofi, the Constituency Communications Officer, King Phillip Anikloe, Hon Augustina AMA Tabuah Kwofie, NDC 2023 parliamentary aspirant for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency and some other constituency executives members.
Markets and communities engaged were Axim Ehweebale market, Axim Amafukumenu, Brawire/Akyinim and Nsein.
