
The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has extended her heartfelt New Year wishes to all Ghanaians.

In her New Year Message, she promised to implement key policies and programmes that would benefit all Ghanaians.
"Through the continued implementation of key government policies and programmes, we have reached more citizens and strengthened social protection systems across the country", she said.
She emphasised that, "Looking ahead of 2026, we recommit to building on those achievements to build a better Ghana where no one is left behind and every citizen can thrive".
She, therefore took the opportunity, to thanked those who worked with in 2025.
"I sincerely extend our appreciation to our esteemed development partners, media, civil society organization, and the public for your unwavering support and collaboration. Your contributions, criticism and feedback have been instrumental in advocating our shared mission and goal", she stated.
She ended by urging Ghanaians to show love, kindness, and consideration for one another.
"I urge Ghanaians to show love, kindness, and consideration for one another. May this season inspire us to support those who in need and uphold the values of compassion and unity that bind us together", she concluded.
