The Positive Influence Production (PIP) much anticipated movie, ‘TADI CARNIVA’L, is set to premiere on Friday October 25, 2025 at the Western Serene Atlantic Hotel, in Takoradi.
TADI CARNIVAL, is a compilation of dramatic scenes of the Masquerade festival, popularly known as “Ankos” in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
The cast are Too Much of Junka Town Fame, Alaska, late Yogot among others. The Executive Premier, is to set the tone for many of such premieres ahead of this year’s yuletide.
The Masquerade Festival, has over 30 groups such us Sanato, USA, Cosmos, Tumus, Supreme, Classic Ladies, Ohyewakomamu among others has attracted wild patronage over the years.
Skyy Power FM and Empire FM are the two radio stations that have been championing the Masquerade Festival for several years.
Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, Western Regional Minister has also been earsplitting the Masquerade Festival on every platform, signifying its importance to the people of Sekondi-Takoradi and the world at large.
Prince Dugbartey, the Executive Producer of Positive Influence Production (PIP) in an interview with the B&FT said, "as a leading movie production house in the Twin-City, we have joined in the success of the Masquerade Festival, and have promoted it through story and film production”.
“The idea of our new film, is to champion the Masquerade Carnival and Sekondi-Takoradi, by telling a captivating story for the individual or group of people to appreciate the contribution of the various clubs and brass band” he reiterated.
He explained that developing the plot and scenes of the film, took the team three years adding, “we needed to convey the message in the right story format and approach to make it appealing”.
According to Mr. Dugbartey, the Masquerade Festival brings people from all walks of life together, promotes the hospitality and the tourism industry, foster unity, networking among others.
”TADI CARNIVAL promises to be an educative, thrilling and thought-provoking film that will keep audiences glued to their seats”, he concluded.
