
The newly installed Chief of Assin Homaho in the Assin South District, Nana Duodu III, has called on residents to unite behind his leadership to foster peace and accelerate development.
He emphasized that unity is the surest path to achieving the community's desired progress, stressing that a collective effort is essential to move Assin Homaho forward. The Chief pledged to spearhead initiatives that will bring meaningful development and modernization.
Nana Duodu III, known privately as philanthropist and entrepreneur Mr. Anthony Yeboah, made this call during his installation ceremony.
Outlining his development agenda, he promised to upgrade the community’s only health centre with modern equipment, including beds and other essential facilities. He also pledged to intensify sanitation efforts, improve roads and water systems, and create youth employment opportunities by providing skills training for self-employment.
Nana Duodu III expressed gratitude to the family and residents for their confidence in him and assured them of his unwavering commitment to improving living conditions.
In a related address, the Queenmother of Assin Homaho, Nana Hemaa Obenewaa, urged parents and guardians to prioritize the welfare and education of their children to nurture responsible citizens. She also called on residents to fully support the new chief, noting that his success would benefit the entire community.
Community members and elders present at the ceremony expressed joy and confidence in Nana Duodu III’s ability to lead Assin Homaho toward a new era of development.
