Fire Oja given 48-hour ultimatum by Nae We Arbitration Court

Accra, Ghana – The Nae We Arbitration Court has given controversial prophet, Jedidiah Henry Kore, widely known as Fire Oja, a 48-hour ultimatum to personally appear before it.

The directive follows a recent ruling by Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III, the Nae Wulomo and custodian of Ga traditions, in a defamation suit filed against the prophet by one Ola Maame.

Sources indicate that the court is insisting on Oja’s physical presence to ensure full compliance with its earlier judgment. That ruling, which found in favour of Ola Maame, ordered the prophet to pay compensation and perform traditional rites after his allegations against her were deemed unsubstantiated.

Failure by Fire Oja to honour the summons within the stipulated timeframe could attract traditional sanctions and possible legal repercussions, given the court’s recognized status within the customary arbitration system. The move underscores the authority of the Nae We Arbitration Court and its determination to uphold its rulings within the Ga traditional judicial framework.
