Ghana is blessed with a president who sees prayer and thanksgiving as a necessity - USA-based Singer

USA-based Gospel musician, Kingsford Kofi Menkah has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for initiating a special day to pray and thank God as a country.

The singer said Ghana is blessed to have a president in this current dispensation who sees prayer and thanksgiving as a necessity.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye, he said, "Any country that fully dedicates its ways to God and allows Him to take over the country is always protected and blessed.

"The steps taken by the president to have a special holiday to be dedicated for prayer and thanksgiving is a very good initiative.

"We ought to applaud the president for such a decision because prayer and thanksgiving are practised by all the various religious groups."

"Having a president like Mahama who has taken such a bold step in this current generation is a blessing to the entire country," he stated on Property FM in Cape Coast.
