
The nation’s leading Mobile Telecommunication Network, MTN Ghana, has announced special data offers for its customers participating in this year’s Fetu Afahye celebration, scheduled for September 6.
This was revealed when management from MTN Ghana visited the Oguaa Traditional Council to donate GHC 30,000, GHC 2,000 worth of airtime, and a hamper of drinks in support of the 2025 Oguaa Fetu Afahye celebration.
The company also donated an additional GHC 40,000 to the Afahye planning committee.
Presenting the items on behalf of MTN, the Western and Central Regional Manager, Mr. Prince Owusu Nyarko, expressed the company's delight in being associated with the Oguaa celebration.
He stated that “MTN, a company that believes in Africa’s culture and traditions, will continue to support festivals and cultural activities across the country.”
Receiving the items, the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Dr. Kwesi Atta II, praised MTN for its unwavering support to the Oguaa Traditional Council over the years.
