A violent altercation that left one person with many stab wounds has resulted in the arrest of twenty students from Salaga Senior High School in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.

Police quickly intervened after the confrontation, which was described as a free-for-all battle, caused mayhem on campus.

A handgun made locally and a cartridge of ammo were taken from the location by police enforcement during the operation.

To find out what caused the fight and who is to blame for the violence, investigations are still being conducted.

The incident has been sharply denounced by school administrators. "We have turned them over to the police and hope they are thoroughly screened," a school administrator told the media. The entire force of the law ought to be applied to those found guilty. We are quite dissatisfied with the students' behavior.

The suspects' statements are now being gathered by the police. Three of the twenty pupils are still being held, while seventeen have been released on bail.
