A thought-provoking Facebook post made just days before his passing has left many Ghanaians in shock and deep reflection after the sudden death of a young man whose identity is yet to be officially confirmed.

On August 8, the deceased shared a chilling message on his timeline that has since gone viral:

"Death is like rainfall, it doesn’t fall on one roof alone. If you are happy about the death of one person today, get ready for tomorrow for it may be your turn and more than expected. Wo nyame sum po ni!”

Barely two weeks later, on August 25, news broke that the young man had tragically died. While the exact cause of death remains unknown, the eerie timing of his post has fueled widespread conversation online about the unpredictability of life and the certainty of death.

Social media has since been flooded with tributes and emotional reactions. Many described his words as prophetic, while others saw it as a sober reminder to cherish life and treat one another with kindness.

“This should teach us all a lesson. No one knows tomorrow, so let’s love each other while we still can,” one Facebook user wrote. Another added, “Life is truly fleeting. His words will never be forgotten.”

The late young man’s post has now become a rallying point for discussions on mortality, humility, and compassion, resonating far beyond his immediate circle of friends and family.

As Ghanaians continue to mourn his passing, his final message serves as a powerful reminder that death, like rainfall, spares no one and comes when least expected.
