Development Boost: KEEA MCE Launches Classroom Block and CHPS Project for Nkrotrodo and Siwim

The Municipal Chief Executive for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), Hon. Ismail Zagoon Saeed, has cut sod for the construction of a 2-unit KG classroom block for Nkrotrodo and a CHPS Compound for Siwim.

The ceremony, held on November 14, 2025, brought together traditional leaders, community members, and government officials. The MCE described the projects as a major step toward improving access to quality education and healthcare within the municipality.

The Siwim CHPS Compound will provide maternal and child healthcare, outpatient services, laboratory tests, and emergency care. The KEEA Municipal Health Director, Mr. Martin Danko, assured that health professionals will be posted immediately after completion.

At Nkrotrodo, the 2-unit KG block is expected to ease overcrowding in local schools. The Municipal Education Director, Madam Mercy Ekua Lisa, commended the Assembly for responding to the needs of the AME Zion Kindergarten.

Both projects are expected to be completed within six months. Community leaders expressed gratitude and pledged their support for successful execution.

These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to improving living standards in rural communities.
