In a recent post on X, Ghanaian rapper Edem Goget'em claimed that he ought to have taken home the 2015 Ghana Music Awards' Artiste of the Year title.
He hinted in the post that although he deserved the Artiste of the Year title, it went to another artist, comparing his predicament to this year's Ballon d'Or, which Vinicius Jr. did not win despite the expectations of many.

Daddy Lumba, Stonebwoy, Guru, Edem, MzVee, Sarkodie, and Samini were the nominees for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards' Artiste of the Year award in 2015.
In his remarks, Stonebwoy, the winner of the Artiste of the Year award, stated, "I think the other artists are pleased I won.Look how tall we've gotten! This is truly earned.
