Ghana Police Foil Robbery Plot: Two Employees Arrested for Plotting to Rob Company

Ghana Police Service's Special Support Unit has apprehended two employees of a North Kaneshie-based company in Accra for allegedly plotting to rob their employer during a scheduled cash transfer. Joseph Danso (alias Nana Yaw) and Fauzan Alhassan were arrested on July 1, 2025, while trailing a dispatch rider carrying company funds to Abossey Okai bank.

Intelligence revealed that the duo, along with accomplices Frankie and Asante, had planned to rob the company during the cash movement. The Special Support Unit mounted surveillance, leading to the suspects' arrest. During questioning, they admitted involvement and identified their accomplices.

The police are currently working to apprehend the remaining suspects. The two arrested suspects are in custody, assisting with investigations.
