In a heartbreaking turn of events, a young Ghanaian woman identified as Linda Effah has reportedly lost her life in a fatal car accident, just a day before her much-anticipated wedding ceremony.

According to reports, Linda was travelling with her fiancé and their one-year-old baby to Tema to finalize arrangements for their marriage ceremony, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 11. Sadly, the journey ended in tragedy when their vehicle was involved in a serious crash.

The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, but eyewitnesses confirmed that Linda died on the spot. Her fiancé, who was behind the wheel, survived with a broken leg and is currently receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). Miraculously, their one-year-old baby escaped unhurt.

The shocking news has sent waves of grief across social media, with friends, relatives, and well-wishers expressing disbelief and sorrow over her untimely death.

What was meant to be a weekend of joy and celebration has now turned into a period of mourning and heartbreak. Many who knew Linda described her as a kind, loving, and cheerful person whose life was just beginning.

Her tragic passing serves as a painful reminder of the fragility of life — how quickly moments of happiness can turn into sorrow.

As family and friends prepare to lay her to rest, the entire community continues to mourn a life cut short just hours before she was set to say “I do.”
