As she said in an exclusive interview with her coworker Empress Gifty on UTV's Ucook show monitired by DJQwequ, "I've never bought an award; every award I've earned, I truly deserved."
Selina mentioned two memorable experiences at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) when asked which accolades she preferred. In 2012, she achieved a major career milestone when she won Gospel Song of the Year for her smash song "Minku Me Ho."
Additionally, she proudly mentioned winning the same award for “Alpha and Omega,” featuring Uncle Ato, in another year.
