Ghanaian music has a new force to watch, and his name is OKYEREFO KOJO. Born EUGENE AGYAPONG and hailing from Kwahu Nkwatia and Gyakiti in Akwamu, Okyerefo Kojo is not your regular artist. He is a complete musician.

His journey started early. While in primary school, he was already leading worship, playing instruments in church, and discovering a passion that would define his life. By his teenage years, he had taken music full-time.
Raised in Dansoman, a hub for Ghanaian music, he drew inspiration from legends like OKOMFOUR KWADEE, OBOUR, and OBRAFOUR - and it shows in his depth and originality.
What makes Okyerefo Kojo different? Versatility. He refuses to be boxed.
"I don't copy trends, I am a trendsetter. I don't do one particular genre because I'm versatile," he says.
From Reggae to Hiplife, Highlife to Afrobeats, and a serious rap flow that many don't know about, Okyerefo delivers it all. He has worked with some of Ghana's most renowned producers, including APPIATUS, ZAPP MALLET, HYPE LYRICS, MARRON and BENVERJ STUDIOS.
He already has solid songs to his credit, including MEDITATION, LIFE, and WONTUMI RASTA.
And now, he is set to take over again with his powerful new single "BƆ NO BIOM" off his upcoming album.
AWARDS, STAGES & SETBACKS
Okyerefo Kojo is no stranger to big stages. He has had countless radio interviews, played major concerts across Ghana, and was featured on the prestigious Adom Festival Train. His talent has been recognized with Songwriter of the Year and Best Collaboration at the Akuapem Music Awards.
His journey hasn't been without challenges. His biggest setback was when funds sent by an investor for his project were absconded by a middleman - a story many Ghanaian artists can relate to. But it only made him stronger.
Aside from music, Okyerefo is also a businessman.
THE FUTURE IS BIGGER
When asked about his dream collaborations, he mentions his longtime brother Shatta Wale, plus Medikal and Stonebwoy.
In the next two years, his vision is clear: a larger global fanbase and performing on international stages through hard work and determination.
His message to fans is simple: "Expect hits after hits and other humanitarian projects."
Okyerefo Kojo is here, and he is ready.
