Panya Fraternity Foundation, a local NGO in the K.E.E.A municipality on the 1st of October, 2024, visited the Nana Kwame Essoun M/A basic school located at Sanka to donate school items to the children.

The foundation, as part of their cooperative responsibility to the public, did this donation to ease the burdens parents go through catering for the children at school.

Speaking to DJ Qwequ, the president of the foundation, Mr. Samuel Cobbinah emphasized the main vision of the foundation, which is ‘To develop ourselves to develop our community', and also considering the fact that Sanka is a deprived community, calls for such assistance from them to the community. He added that such donations go on every year, as Bronyibima M/A School benefited last year. Adding by advising the parents to do everything possible in their power to take good care of their children and also students to learn well and learn to be what they wish to be in the future.

Mr. Dennis Ernest Eshun, who is the assistant headmaster at the school, extended their heartfelt thanksgiving to the foundation by putting smiles on the faces of the children and calls for more gestures to be extended to the school from the general public.

Mr. Steven Penner expressed his happiness seeing such donations to the school. He explained that such donations will put smiles on the faces of the children when they get to wear the new uniforms, and such will empower them to learn well.

Items donated to the school include 60 pieces of school uniforms for the children from all classes and also sanitary pads for the ladies in the school.

Panya Fraternity Foundation is an association created to educate, support needy people, sensitize communities, and promote youth awareness.
