The legal team and Lil Win apologize to Martha Ankomah for the GHS 5 million defamation action.

Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lil Win, is no longer grinning as his colleague Martha Ankomah's GHS 5 million defamation case against him has taken a new turn.

During a live TikTok session with his three legal counsel, he apologized for allegedly damaging Martha's reputation, especially as a GTP brand ambassador, with Lil Win's viral video.

Lil Win asked his 2.5 million followers to assist him in getting Martha Ankomah to accept his apology in his speech. He acknowledged his mistake and requested forgiveness, pointing out that he was a first-time offender and that he sincerely wanted to make things right.

He also said he hoped to collaborate with her on future projects and promised to refrain from making any more derogatory remarks. At first, it appeared like the case might go to court, with Martha Ankomah requesting GHS 5 million in compensation for the damage done to her reputation.

Lil Win agreed to an out-of-court settlement, but she did not show up for the court procedures, which made matters more complicated. However, he has now publicly called for a settlement outside of court.

Even though the specifics of the possible settlement are still unknown, Lil Win's public apologies and the participation of his legal team suggest that the conflict may still be settled amicably, possibly paving the way for future cooperation.
