Tragedy at Kwahu Tafo: 17-Year-Old St. Joseph Technical Student Fatally Stabbed by Close Friend Over Money Dispute

A 17-year-old student of the St. Joseph Technical Institute at Kwahu Tafo, identified as Kwasi Awuah Gorman, has met a tragic end after being allegedly stabbed to death by his close friend during a heated argument.

The suspect, Stephen Opuni, popularly known as Sugar, is believed to have stabbed Kwasi in the neck during a confrontation reportedly sparked by a disagreement over money. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred while Kwasi was in the company of four friends. The argument escalated quickly, and in the midst of the chaos, Kwasi was heard screaming that he had been stabbed, clutching his neck as he bled profusely.

Bystanders rushed to his aid, but the injuries proved fatal.

The Kwahu Tafo Police responded swiftly, leading to the prompt arrest of the suspect. Sugar is currently in police custody and is assisting with ongoing investigations.

This shocking incident has left the Kwahu Tafo community, especially the students and staff of St. Joseph Technical Institute, in deep sorrow and disbelief. Many have expressed their grief and called for justice for the young student whose life was cut short under such painful circumstances.

The authorities have assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to uncover the full details surrounding the incident.
