Effective January 24, 2025, Kofi Baah Agyepong, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana's Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has formally resigned from his role.

Agyepong stated personal obligations and goals as the reason for his choice in his letter of resignation to President John Dramani Mahama.

Thanking the President and wishing him "continued wisdom and strength in [his] service to the nation," Mr. Agyepong expressed confidence in the agency's future achievements.

Throughout his time there, Mr. Agyepong led efforts to address young unemployment and encourage the development of entrepreneurial and vocational skills.
