
Early Life and Background

Saiba Zulfatu, affectionately known by her stage name Winpiini, was born on November 11, 2004. Hailing from the Bawkzua -Bawku in the Upper East Region of Ghana, Winpiini grew up in a loving and supportive family. Her parents, Mr. Awini K. Saiba, an employee of the Binduri District Assembly, and Mrs. Seidu Memuna, a nurse at Bazua Health Center, instilled strong values of education and determination in their children.
The eldest of three siblings, Winpiini shares a close bond with her younger sisters, Faila and Wakaya. While Faila is currently in her second year at Ada Senior High School, Wakaya is in Basic Six at Tuffour Red Socks International School, the same institution where Winpiini began her educational journey.
Educational Journey
Winpiini's academic foundation was laid at Tuffour Red Socks International School, where she displayed exceptional talent and discipline. She continued her studies at the Zuarungu Senior High School (ZUSEC), excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. During her time at ZUSEC, she was actively involved in leadership, serving as the Secretary of the Debating Club and later as the Senior Girls’ Prefect in her final year.
After completing high school in 2022, she spent her gap year teaching at three private schools, using her earnings to support herself. Her hard work paid off when she gained admission to the Bolgatanga Nursing Training College in 2023. Currently, she is a second-year nursing student, diligently pursuing her passion for healthcare and community service.
Pageantry Journey

Winpiini’s entry into the world of pageantry began during her first year at nursing college, where she participated in and won the Miss GMNTA pageant. This achievement ignited her passion for pageantry and inspired her to compete in the Happy Man Bitters - Miss Upper East Ghana 2024 competition.
Facing initial challenges and self-doubt, she persevered with determination and resilience. On December 30, 2024, at the GNAT Hall in Bolgatanga, Winpiini triumphed over 11 other finalists to claim the prestigious title of Miss Upper East Ghana 2024. Her efforts were rewarded with a car prize, symbolizing her dedication and hard work.

As Miss Upper East Ghana, Winpiini is committed to driving positive change in her community. Her primary focus areas include:
