TW Radio 88.9 is not slowing down! The July celebration in Cape Coast has moved from exciting to unforgettable as the station continues to engage the community with a bold lineup of activities—from street marketing and surprise giveaways to an electric high school alumni jama and a highly anticipated corporate dinner.

The week started strong on Monday, with the Oguaa Street Market Activation. Producer Nana Kojo Dadzie hit the streets personally, interviewing local business owners and giving them live airtime to market their products and services on the spot. It was a radio broadcast and moving marketplace with real-time promotion and energy.

Tuesday was all about endurance. The much-talked-about "Touch and Win" challenge, where a tricycle (pragya) was to be given to the last person standing with a hand on it, had to be rescheduled. Why? Many people couldn’t believe it was real. The skepticism in the community meant lower turnout, but the message was clear: TW Radio is serious about rewards—and they don’t play about their promises.

On Wednesday, it was the ladies' turn to shine. A surprise shopping bonanza saw 10 lucky women win GHS 500 coupons to shop at Akwat’s American Supermarket, a partner of TW Radio for the celebration. Winners were selected live on air after answering just two out of three simple questions about TW Radio and the store. It was fun, fast-paced, and full of cheers as the women walked away with smiles and shopping bags.

Thursday turned emotional and nostalgic as listeners called in to share their honest wishes, feedback, and expectations for the station. From children’s programs and more news coverage to richer entertainment content, the calls poured in. But what followed was the real showstopper: the TW Inter-School Alumni Jama Reunion.

Old students from various high schools flooded the studio in what began as a friendly musical competition but quickly turned into a powerful movement of unity and shared identity. Some schools outnumbered others, but in the end, the spirit of togetherness won. Callers couldn’t get enough—it was loud, lively, and full of Cape Coast pride.

Now, Friday’s focus is big—a Corporate Dinner Night for Cape Coast’s business leaders. The aim? To build long-term relationships with institutions and brands that believe in growth and visibility. TW Radio is hosting a dinner and building a bridge between Cape Coast and the global business world.

From the streets to the studios, giveaways to growth—TW Radio 88.9 is celebrating and creating impact. Stay tuned. The energy only gets better from here.
