The Upper East Tertiary Awards 2024 was held in grand style on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Library Complex of the Bolgatanga Technical University. The prestigious event, organized by Hotshot Event Services, brought together exceptional students, dignitaries, and stakeholders from across the region to celebrate academic and creative excellence.
The atmosphere was one of elegance and pride as students from various tertiary institutions gathered to be recognized for their hard work, innovation, leadership, and talent across different fields. From ICT to health sciences, business, modeling, and technical education, the night highlighted the vast potential within the Upper East Region’s student community.
In her inspiring keynote speech, Awinbila Benedicta, CEO of the Upper East Tertiary Awards, praised the unwavering dedication of students and stakeholders, stating:
“Tonight, we gather to celebrate the pinnacle of excellence, creativity, and determination. This occasion is more than just an awards night—it is a powerful reminder of the passion and resilience our students embody in their pursuit of knowledge and service to community.”
She further acknowledged the tireless efforts of educators and mentors who continue to guide students towards greatness, and encouraged both winners and nominees to continue striving for excellence.
Adding flair to the event was a captivating runway modeling session, where fashion designers showcased their creativity by designing stunning outfits for their models. The runway added a touch of glamor and style to the night, celebrating fashion as an essential part of student expression. In addition, the evening featured exciting performances by artistes and dancers, further energizing the crowd and keeping the celebration alive.

The overall winner, Model Phil, walked away with a cash prize of GHC 5,000 and a variety of other exciting goodies, making the moment even more memorable and rewarding.
