Election 2024: Bawumia waging a good campaign, I believe he’ll win Akufo Addo

President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed strong confidence in Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's chances in the 2024 general elections, asserting that Bawumia is leading an effective campaign. Akufo-Addo believes that the Vice President, who has served in office since 2017, has not only gained significant experience in governance but also shown a great capacity to connect with the electorate. His campaign has focused on economic growth, digitization, and governance reforms, positioning him as the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) preferred candidate.

The President praised Bawumia for his role in managing Ghana's economy and emphasized that the Vice President has what it takes to continue leading the country on its current development path. This comes as the NPP prepares for a critical electoral contest in 2024, where they will face the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is hoping to regain power after consecutive losses.

Akufo-Addo’s endorsement of Bawumia signals the NPP's strong backing of the Vice President, adding momentum to his campaign as he looks to secure the party's nomination and, ultimately, the presidency.

This development intensifies the competition leading to the 2024 elections, where Bawumia is expected to be a key figure in defending the NPP’s legacy and offering new plans for Ghana’s future.
