Prez Nana Addo: Return all government vehicles by January 3, 2025 – Presidency directs appointees

The Office of the President has issued a directive requiring all outgoing political appointees, including Ministers and their deputies, to return government vehicles by January 3, 2025. This policy, reaffirmed on December 11, 2024, emphasizes accountability and responsible management of state resources as President Akufo-Addo concludes his second term. Unlike previous administrations that allowed appointees to acquire one official vehicle, this administration prohibits such acquisitions.
