Majid Michel, Nadia Buari and Others Star In “I Was Here”, Premiere Set For October 18th

Ghanaian superstars Majid Michel and Nadia Buari are playing a lead role in a cancer movie to be premiered this 18th October 2024 at the Silverbird Cinemas.

The movie also have characters like Michelle McKinney, Hammond,Yasirah Bhelz, Jessica Larny, Dela Seade, David Mensah playing major roles in making the movie a success.

Breast cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the breast tissue. It occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow and multiply uncontrollably, forming a tumor.

Types of Breast Cancer:

1. Ductal carcinoma (most common): Begins in milk ducts.

2. Lobular carcinoma: Starts in milk-producing lobules.

3. Inflammatory breast cancer: Aggressive, rare type.

4. Triple-negative breast cancer: Lack estrogen, progesterone, and HER2 receptors.

As we are in a breast cancer awareness month, this movies speaks volume of the realities of life. The life of a young woman who suffered this fate and how her hopes of surviving became slim. She ignores her boyfriend who was burnt on sticking with her till death do them apart. Important, the hospital where she does her check up blamed themselves for not seeing this coming despite the her constant visit to the hospital.
