PHOTOS: Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome Stocks Dabala Health Center in Collaboration With the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Charities

The former Member of Parliament for South Tongu Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome has Collaborated With the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Charities to stock the Dabala Health Center.

In a post cited on social media, the former member of parliament shared his excitement after achieving this feat. In his speech, he recounted how the church was there to support his bid to support his constituents during the Akosombo dam spillage.

“I was privileged to chair the donation ceremony of medical equipment to Dabala Health Centre by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint Charities.

This was through the collaboration with my brother and sister Mr. and Mrs. Tsikpor of Dabala which started six to seven months ago after putting up the diagnostic center and stocking it with some basic medical equipment.

I also took the responsibility of fortifying the doors and windows with burglar proof and air-conditioning to prevent theft and dust from having contact with the machines.

During the Akosombo dam spillage, the Church supported myself and colleague MPs from the flood affected Constituencies to give aid to our flood victims.

I am so grateful to them for rising to the occasion once again to donate the following medical equipment to Dabala Health Centre.

It’s my wish to collaborate with others to extend similar gestures to other health centers in the Municipality.
