
On Friday, 30th May 2025, delegates from diverse health institutions nationwide convened at the 17th Annual Delegates Congress held at KAAF University to elect visionary leaders for the National Health Students Association of Ghana.
The congress, which attracted esteemed dignitaries from the health sector and government officials, including a representative of the Honorable Chief of Staff of the Republic of Ghana, the Regional Health Director, the Director in charge of health institutions at the Ministry of Health, esteemed members of parliament, and dignitaries from the host institution (KAAF University), was a momentous occasion. The fiercely competitive election finally culminated in the election of the following individuals to steer the association's affairs for the next administrative year:
Ahmed Yakubu - President
Anna Kumeh - Vice President
Poru Cosmos - General Secretary
Lisbon Carter - PMIRO
Theodora Mireku Boateng - Women's Commissioner
Abdullahi Uthman Issah - Coordinating Secretary.
The election was resoundingly successful as delegates praised executives for organizing the most credible elections in history
