Nana Kumasa Krampah II, the Mankrado of Gomoa Asempayin, has asked John Dramani Mahama, the P. president-elect, to put in a lot of effort to keep his campaign pledges.
He has advised Mr. Mahama to make sure that at least 80% of the pledges he made during the campaign season are kept, rather than taking the people's mandate for granted.
On Saturday, August 24, 2024, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and president-elect John Mahama released the party's platform for the general elections of 2024.
It included a comprehensive plan designed to ensure good governance, alleviate economic problems, and revive Ghana's economy.
The Ghana Medical Trust (Mahamacare) Fund, the 24-hour economy, and free tertiary education for people with disabilities are just a few of the pledges made in the manifesto.
In an interview with Onua News, Nana Kumasa Krampah, the Mankrado for the Ninfa Division of the Gomoa Assin Traditional Area, warned the incoming NDC administration not to make the same mistakes as the departing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the recently concluded general elections, Ghanaians cast resounding votes for the NDC due to its promises and programs.
He cautioned Mahama, saying, "If you don't deliver, then consider NDC losers in the 2028 polls. The people are truly yearning for development."
Using the occasion, Nana Kumasa Krampah encouraged the young people to be dedicated to their dreams and urged the traditional leaders to band together and support the advancement of the diverse communities.
