Despite Leicester City's 3-1 Premier League loss to Liverpool, Jordan Ayew has shown his respect for his teammates.
Ayew's early strike gave the Foxes, who traveled to Anfield on Thursday night, a good start. Liverpool, however, came back to win the match.
"We need to adjust better," Ayew stated after giving the game some thought. They were on top of us, so we didn't start the second half well. As a team, we could have made better choices, but we will grow from this crucial experience.
Ayew was upbeat about the team's development in spite of the defeat.
"All things considered, I'm proud of the boys' perseverance, character, and mindset; if we continue in this manner, we will succeed in the league," he continued.
Ayew has been an exceptional player since joining Leicester City from Crystal Palace in the summer, making 20 appearances in all competitions and contributing five goals and an assist.
When Leicester hosts Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, the forward will try to take the lead.
