If elected to power, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, has pledged to significantly improve the district of Bosomtwe's infrastructure.
He claimed that more schools, hospitals, better roads, and other social facilities will be added to the district, improving the quality of life for residents. Speaking to party supporters at the "Bawumia Community Connect" during his Ashanti Region campaign tour, the NPP flagbearer urged voters to support him and the party's parliamentary candidates in order to carry out the party's change plan.
As he took the platform to speak to the party members, Dr. Bawumia was greeted with great enthusiasm by Ashanti Regional Minister Mr. Simon Osei Mensah, NPP Regional Chairman Mr. Benrad Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), and other prominent members of the party. "Kuntenase, we'll fix your road because I know it's a problem.
We will provide the astroturf to you since I am aware that you require one here. The chief has informed me that your hospital has to be modernized, so we will take care of it for you," Dr. Bawumia promised.
"We will bring you the nursing training college and fix your inner roads because the chief has once again asked for a nursing training college and a district capital." The Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Mr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, urged everyone to cast ballots on December 7.
He claimed that supporting the NPP will help safeguard the government's other measures, like the free SHS program. "We let people convince us that Ghana has not advanced during the Nana Akufo-Addo administration; let them know that Bosomtwe has experienced tremendous progress," he remarked.
"What are we to say to the NPP government if Bosomtwe has witnessed a significant development? We can tell them to cast a large number of votes for the party." By saying, "We will not allow the NDC to engage in any violence with us, call your friends to vote for the NPP come 7th December 2024," Chairman Wuntumi warned the NDC against using violence of any kind.
