Joe Jackson, a finance analyst and chief operations officer at Dalex Finance, has stated that he fully supports President-elect Mahama's determination to reclaim the stolen property from the State.
This comes after John Dramani Mahama established a committee to lead the effort, which he called Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
Many Ghanaians, who feel that the country is suffering from state theft, have applauded John Mahama's decision and his initiative in reclaiming everything that has been taken from the State.
Ghanaians will be satisfied if Mahama is able to retrieve only the cash and does nothing else for the State, the finance analyst said during Onua TV's special coverage of the presidential inauguration on Monday, January 06, 2025.
He claims that the extent of the looting is so terrible that Ghanaians will applaud the president's efforts to recover those amounts.
Ghanaians will say Mahama has done well if he takes back the loot and does nothing else. There is too much loot. "I'm in favor of ORAL," Mr. Jackson said to Captain Smart, the host.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the committee's chairperson, has praised Ghanaians who have shown support for the effort as well as New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters.
He claims that those who wish to see the country rebuilt on the tenets of accountability and openness have backed the ORAL, which seeks to recover any state assets that have been embezzled by those in the current administration.
The initiative is intended to safeguard public assets that have been plundered by dishonest and avaricious individuals, according to a post made on his X Sunday, December 22, 2024.
He said that the Operation is a national cause rather than a party one, calling those who oppose it members of the NPP's "looting brigade."
It's wonderful to see more prominent members of the NPP backing Mahama's Operation-Recover-All-Loot (ORAL). All Ghanaians who did not participate in the infamous NPP looting brigade are naturally thrilled about ORAL. "The people's ORAL will not be stopped by anything," he declared.
"Every Ghanaian who values justice, equity, and the prudent use of public funds is entitled to this initiative," he said in closing.
