Ghanaians have been cautioned by outgoing President Akufo-Addo to face the new year with optimism and resolve.

In spite of the difficulties and victories of the previous year, the president urged the populace to approach 2025 with newfound vigor, solidarity, and hope in his farewell New Year's speech.

"May 2025 bring happiness, tranquility, and a wealth of benefits to our family. May there be fun in our homes, harmony in our neighborhoods, and prosperity in our country. Knowing that nothing is impossible for us to accomplish as a team, let's enter the New Year with optimism in our hearts and resolve in our actions.

The President emphasized further how important it is that we stick together in the face of difficulties and strive toward a more powerful and prosperous country.
