In preparation for the election on December 7, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sweden Branch has contributed four motorcycles to the party's campaign efforts. The motorbikes were presented by Nana Shaki Frimpong, the Sweden Branch Council of Elder, on behalf of Kwame Amponsah-Kyeretwie, the Director for External Affairs, and its members. Two constituencies, Okaikwei North and Tema East, have also been adopted by them in order to provide logistical support and bolster the campaign.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has done well and requires someone to carry on his legacy, according to Branch Chairman Richard Oti Aboagye, who was instrumental in the donation. The party will still need to put in a lot of effort to make sure they break the eight, he continued, notwithstanding their past performance.
According to him, for the party to win the election, every member has to be actively involved in the campaign.
Mr Aboagye added that former President Kufuor did so well during his tenure but the NPP lost the 2008 election and that has thought them a lesson so they will continue to help in their small way to boost their campaign.
up order to accomplish the Break the Eight goal, he exhorted all supporters to put up their best effort and pitch the party's ideals to Ghanaians. Yohane Amarh Ashitey, the mayor of Tema and the NPP's Tema East parliamentary candidate, praised them for their action and promised to put in a lot of effort to win on December 7.
