The Appointment Committee of Parliament is approving John Jinapor as the Energy Minister-designate.

The Appointments Committee of Parliament has commenced the vetting of the three ministers-designate named by President John Dramani Mahama.

Bernard Ahiafor, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Akatsi South MP, is in charge of the Committee, which is represented by the Majority and Minority.

Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, the appointed Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan-Essiam, took his turn earlier this morning and was released almost an hour ago.

Energy Minister-designate John Abdulai Jinapor now gets his turn, followed by Attorney-General and Justice Minister-designate Dominic Akuritinga Ayine.
