Over the years, the YEN Entertainment Awards has carved a niche for itself as one of the schemes dedicated to celebrating personalities, content creators and media brands whose works continue to influence conversations within Ghana’s entertainment landscape.
This time was no exception as digital media powerhouse Gossips24 added another accolade to its growing list of achievements after emerging victorious in one of the highly competitive categories of the award scheme.
Gossips24 through its flagship YouTube channel, Gossips24 Avenue, secured the Social Media Star (YouTube) award by beating strong competition from some of Ghana’s biggest digital content creators and YouTube personalities including Wode Maya, Headless YouTuber, Konnected Minds and Code Micky to grab the prestigious honour.
The victory has been described by many followers of the brand as a major endorsement of the impact Gossips24 has made within Ghana’s entertainment and online media ecosystem over the years.
The award further reflects the efforts of the platform’s co-founder, Clement Asamoah, who doubles as the lead presenter and face behind Gossips24 Avenue.
Through his presentation style and deep engagement with trending topics, he has helped position the platform as one of the most talked-about entertainment discussion hubs on YouTube.
Unlike traditional entertainment reporting outlets, Gossips24 has built its identity around detailed analysis, celebrity conversations, social media debates and pop culture discussions that often dominate public discourse in Ghana and beyond.
Its programs frequently tackle trending entertainment issues, celebrity controversies, music developments, industry debates and viral social media moments, helping audiences understand the stories behind the headlines.
While Gossips24 started as a simple entertainment and trending news blog on Gossips24.com, it has evolved into a broader media ecosystem with multiple digital platforms and content divisions.
Today, the brand operates several YouTube channels under its umbrella including Gossips24 Avenue, Gossips24 Studios, Gossips24 Podcast and Gossips24 Sports, each serving different audience interests ranging from entertainment discussions and interviews to sports content and podcasts.
The flagship channel, Gossips24 Avenue, has particularly witnessed massive growth over the years, amassing close to 500,000 subscribers while attracting viewers not only from Ghana but also across the diaspora and other parts of the world.
