Mark Ayamga, a hopeful for the position of Upper East Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on party members and Ghanaians to rally behind Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as a "divinely appointed leader" destined to transform Ghana.

In a passionate statement titled *“Dr. Bawumia, Made Perfect in the Hands of Allah,”* Ayamga, popularly known as *Biawaam*, highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional leadership, intellectual prowess, and dedication to national development.

A Leader of Substance and Vision

Ayamga chronicled Dr. Bawumia’s illustrious career, from his academic excellence to his impactful tenure as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana. He praised the Vice President for revolutionizing Ghana’s political discourse by prioritizing ideas over insults and vision over divisiveness.

“His appearance as the key witness in the 2012 election petition changed Ghanaian politics forever,” Ayamga stated. “He demonstrated that electoral disputes could be resolved with intellect and dignity, not violence.”

A Unifying Force for Ghana

The NPP stalwart expressed concern over what he described as “unnecessary competition, tribalism, and self-centered ambitions” within the political landscape. He urged Ghanaians to put the nation’s interest above personal gains and support Dr. Bawumia’s leadership.

“Why can’t we rally behind this God-gifted brother to lead our nation forward?” Ayamga questioned. “History has shown that when a nation ignores its destined leaders, it takes generations to recover from that mistake.”

A Call to Action

Ayamga, who is vying for the NPP’s Upper East Regional Organizer position, emphasized that Ghana stands at a critical juncture and needs a leader like Dr. Bawumia to steer its progress.

“In Bawumia, we have a prepared, capable, and visionary leader,” he asserted. “If we let this opportunity slip away, future generations may not forgive us.”

The statement has sparked discussions among NPP members and political analysts, with many commending Ayamga’s bold stance while others debate the implications for internal party dynamics.

As the NPP prepares for its regional elections, Ayamga’s message underscores a growing sentiment among some party faithful who see Dr. Bawumia as the best candidate to lead Ghana into a new era of prosperity.
