Here is the full step-by-step process to buy your 2026 WASSCE results checker.

What you need

A phone with Mobile Money (or a card, if buying online).

A minute or two.

Step 1: Choose how to buy

You have two easy options: dial *899*550# on your phone, or buy online at resultschecker.com.gh. Both cost the same and deliver instantly.

Step 2: Start the purchase

If you are using the shortcode, dial *899*550# and select WASSCE Results Checker. If you are online, open resultschecker.com.gh, select the WASSCE checker, and enter your name and phone number.

Step 3: Pay with Mobile Money

Enter your Mobile Money number and approve the prompt with your MoMo PIN. On the website you can also pay by card. If the shortcode is busy, use the backup *714*550#.

Step 4: Get your Serial Number and PIN

Your Serial Number and PIN are sent to your phone by SMS straight away (and shown on screen if you bought online). Save that message until you have checked your results.

Step 5: Check your results on the WAEC portal

When results are released, go to ghana.waecdirect.org, enter your Examination Number, select WASSCE and 2026, then enter your Serial Number and PIN and submit. One checker lets you view your results a limited number of times, usually up to five.
