The Berekum Market Women have honored Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, former Education Minister and running mate to John Dramani Mahama in the 2020 elections.

This gesture was in recognition of her contributions to women’s empowerment and education.

The event celebrated her leadership and service, particularly her role in advocating for gender equality and enhancing educational opportunities.

The market women expressed their admiration and gratitude for her efforts in advancing the welfare of women and girls across the country.
