The Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) has commissioned a state-of-the-art SafeCare Hub in Accra, marking a significant milestone in Ghana's healthcare journey. This innovative hub aims to transform healthcare delivery in Ghana by improving the quality of care and addressing critical gaps in healthcare safety and quality .
The SafeCare Hub will serve as a center for training, research, and promoting safe healthcare practices. It's expected to consolidate CHAG's achievements under the SafeCare initiative and sustain improvements in healthcare delivery.
Notably, CHAG has recorded a 91% improvement in the overall quality of care in all its facilities over the past five years, with 70% of its facilities transitioning from one level to another – from Level 1 to Level 4 .
Four CHAG healthcare facilities have attained the SafeCare Level 4, including Pentecost Hospital, St Francis Xavier Hospital, Holy Family Hospital, and St Joseph Hospital .
This achievement demonstrates CHAG's commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care and its dedication to addressing critical gaps in healthcare safety and quality.
