Rev. Charlotte Oduro, a renowned relationship counselor, has now spoken up about the reasons behind her divorce, putting light on the difficulties that led to the end of her marriage. In a recent interview, she disclosed two crucial aspects that influenced her husband's choice to move away.

The first reason, according to Rev. Oduro, was their different perspectives on marriage and personal development. She stated that despite her years of experience counseling others, she and her husband battled to connect their expectations and ideals in their relationship. She added that as they grew older, they struggled to retain the same degree of closeness and understanding.

The second factor she mentioned was the emotional cost of attempting to make things work. Rev. Oduro claimed that she worked hard to keep the marriage strong, but it soon became evident that their efforts were not providing the anticipated results. She realized that love alone may not be sufficient to survive a marriage if both spouses are not completely fulfilled or happy.

Her admission has prompted extensive debate among Ghanaians, with many surprised that someone who has assisted others through marriage could have such difficulties herself. While some sympathized with her and admired her candor, others attacked her previous counsel, questioning whether she genuinely practiced what she taught.

Despite the various reactions, Rev. Oduro remains devoted to sharing her experience with others, underlining that even the most knowledgeable people can suffer challenges in marriage. She urged people to seek compassion, patience, and mutual respect in their relationships, reminding them that no one is immune to difficulties in love and commitment.
