A 7-member jury has delivered a verdict in the murder case of Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu, the late Abuakwa North MP. The jury found Daniel Asiedu, the prime suspect, not guilty of the charges of robbery and murder.

It's worth noting that Asiedu's co-accused, Vincent Bossu, was acquitted and discharged earlier in March 2024. The verdict in Asiedu's case brings an end to the high-profile trial, which has been closely followed by the public.
