Despite their past collaboration within the party, Owusu-Bempah emphasized that their interaction was purely professional and tied to their shared political efforts within the NPP .

Owusu-Bempah also commented on former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen's recent statements about former President John Agyekum Kufuor. He attributed Kyerematen's statements to emotions and bitterness but expressed optimism about his eventual return to the NPP .
