The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has announced a successful rescue operation following a crane truck accident on the Atibe-Nkawkaw road in the Eastern Region. The incident occurred on Monday, January 27, 2025, and left one person trapped in the wreckage.
In a statement released on the GNFS’s official Facebook page, the rescue mission was begun by the Mpraeso Fire Station under the supervision of Station Officer STNO I Osei Annor. When the crew received the distress call, they quickly mobilised and began working to release the trapped sufferer.
