Kufuor supported Akufo-Addo’s gov’t out of fear – Odike

Akwasi Addai Odike, a member of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, has made some serious allegations against former President John Agyekum Kufuor. According to Odike, Kufuor supported President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo's government out of fear that his own alleged corrupt dealings would be exposed .

Odike claims that Kufuor's silence during the sidelining of party figures like Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong is evidence of his complicity in Akufo-Addo's actions. He also questioned Kufuor's involvement in a 12% oil deal negotiated under his administration, comparing it unfavorably to Equatorial Guinea's 49% deal .

It's worth noting that these allegations are not new, and there have been previous criticisms of Kufuor's administration. However, Odike's comments add to the ongoing debate about corruption and accountability in Ghanaian politics.
