Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has expressed his disappointment and surprise at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice's (CHRAJ) ruling on the Reverend Kusi Boateng case, describing it as "bizarre" .

Ablakwa had petitioned CHRAJ to investigate Reverend Kusi Boateng, the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral, over allegations of conflict of interest and possession of multiple identities. Specifically, Ablakwa alleged that Reverend Kusi Boateng had received a payment of GH¢2.6 million from the National Cathedral Secretariat to his company, JNS Talent Centre Limited, under his secondary identity, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi .

However, CHRAJ's investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing or conflict of interest, prompting Ablakwa's criticism of the ruling.
