The Mankrado of Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Yaw Kwadromanu, has issued a strong warning to landguards, cautioning them against using the community as a haven for their activities. This warning comes on the heels of a landmark Supreme Court judgment that confirms the Essel Amanquado family as the rightful owners of the Fetteh Kakraba lands.

The Supreme Court's ruling, delivered on October 30, 2024, brings an end to years of dispute and legal contention over the land. The Mankrado has expressed his commitment to maintaining peace and order in the community, and has warned that any attempts to exploit the situation for personal gain will not be tolerated.

In fact, the community has experienced tensions over land ownership in the past, including a reported incident where two persons were shot over a land dispute . However, with the Supreme Court's ruling, the people of Fetteh Kakraba are hopeful that this marks a significant step towards resolving these longstanding tensions.

The Mankrado has called on all parties to respect the Supreme Court's decision and focus on fostering unity and development in the area. Local authorities and the traditional council have also pledged to work closely with law enforcement to maintain peace and prevent any acts of lawlessness.
